The evening commute could look a lot different than your commute this morning as widespread snow is starting to move into Northeast Ohio.

Snow will be heaviest from about 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a half-inch of snowfall per hour for most areas.

This will put a coating of snow on the roads, which will continue until about 7 or 8 p.m. on Thursday.

The snow will transition to isolated lake effect snow showers tonight and into early Friday morning.

Snow showers will move east as the evening continues. Temperatures will remain in the 20s and 30s.

Most areas will see about a half-inch to two inches Thursday afternoon and during the evening, with a few areas getting as much as three inches.
