Areas still digging out from the snow last week could see a little more today as cold air blowing over Lake Erie is fueling Lake Effect snow showers.

Expect minor accumulations of snow up to 3 inches where the heaviest squalls are set up, according to Power of 5 meteorologist Trent Magill. Most spots will remain under 1 inch, however.

Lake Effect snow could bring some minor accumulations to our area today.

The snow will taper off overnight with peeks of sun Tuesday, but it will remain breezy and chilly through midweek.

Slightly higher temperatures Wednesday could bring light, isolated rain and snow showers, and by Friday, we could get back up into the 50s.
