Severe thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly before midnight as a cold front settles in across the area. A few of these storms will contain heavy rain and brief damaging wind gusts.
Thunderstorms will increase in coverage tonight as a cold front shifts in from the west. Lows tonight will drop down to between 65 and 70 degrees by sunrise.
The front will stall out briefly across the area on Tuesday, keeping the threat for storms in your neighbourhood during the day. We should be a bit cooler for highs on Tuesday with highs near 80 degrees.
Storms will fade from west to east Tuesday. We all look dry by Tuesday night. Plan for a brief taste of fall by the first day of September on Thursday.
