ELYRIA, Ohio — A Flood Warning has been issued for the Black River in Elyria until Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The River Flood Warning is in effect from 12 p.m. Friday until Saturday at 2:00 a.m.
As of 6:15 a.m. Friday, the stage was 9 feet. The flood stage is 9.5 feet.
The NWS is forecasting minor flooding as the river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.5 feet Friday afternoon.
Flooding could begin south of Elyria in Carlisle Township along Woodside Drive.
