Over 18,000 power outages remain in Northeast Ohio after damaging winds Friday

CLEVELAND — FirstEnergy is reporting thousands of power outages in Northeast Ohio after damaging winds brought down power lines and trees.

There are more than 18,000 power outages across Northeast Ohio.

Here is a county-by-county breakdown as of 2:30 PM:

    • Ashland County—1,145
    • Ashtabula County—1,575
    • Cuyahoga County—4,675
    • Erie County—26
    • Geauga County—2,625
    • Holmes County—95
    • Lorain County—300
    • Lake County—291
    • Medina County—242
    • Portage County—890
    • Richland County—762
    • Stark County—962
    • Summit County—3,525
    • Wayne County—145

    The High Wind Warning is in effect until noon Friday.
