Flood Warnings issued for multiple counties across Northeast Ohio

WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service has issued a River Flood Warning for Wayne and Holmes counties this weekend due the possibility of flooding in Killbuck Creek near Killbuck.

The warning is in effect from Saturday at 7 p.m. to Monday at 2:30 p.m.

A Flood Warning has also been issued for Erie County from 11:40 p.m. Saturday to 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Wayne County this weekend.

At 10 a.m. Friday, the river's stage was at 10 feet - the flood stage is 15 feet. Minor flooding is forecast, with the river expected to rise above flood stage by Saturday evening and rise to near 15.5 feet by Sunday morning.

At 15 feet, several low-lying roads in Holmes County, including township roads 91 and 92, and county roads 621 and 622 will be flooded, the NWS states.
