CLEVELAND — Strong damaging winds are possible for Northeast Ohio Monday.
A High Wind Watch is in effect for all Northeast Ohio until Monday at 11 PM.
Rain will move in overnight and last through the first half of Monday. As a cold front moves through, wind gusts could get as high as 50-60 miles per hour.
Those gusts are enough to bring down weak trees and branches. The soaking rain and wind could lead to the uprooting of trees with shallow roots.
Winds will be at their peak in the late morning and early afternoon, starting to calm down in the evening.
Behind the front temperatures plummet into the 40s.
