CLEVELAND — Warmer temperatures and rain on Wednesday is causing some concerns for flooding across Northeast Ohio.
The rain is also causing problems with ice.
Our east side is blanketed in ice - Ira Road hill, Shade Rd, Yellow Creek Rd, and Bath Road into Cuyahoga Falls. Salt crews are working. Also, watch for standing water elsewhere.

A solid .5 inch to an 1 inch of additional rain is expected throughout the day. There is nearly 1 inch of water locked up in the heavy snow buildup.
The Northeast Ohio Sewer District said they had stormwater inspection and maintenance teams checking the sewer systems earlier this week ahead of the rainfall. If need be, they will add additional tanks. The sewer district has cleared out any blocked culverts.
In 2011, the flooding at the district's southern treatment caused overflow. Since then, there has been more infrastructure added to handle the overflow of water.
Do your part and clear the sewer drains of any blockage or debris near your house so water from the snow and rain can easily have a place to go.
