CLEVELAND — The William G. Mather Steamship Museum will be closed Friday and Saturday due to extreme heat.
The Mather is scheduled to reopen Sunday.
The temperatures on Friday and Saturday are expected to feel like 107 degrees.
The highest heat index values will take place in the late afternoon into the early evening but little relief will occur overnight with low temperatures only dipping to the 70s near 80 degrees.
The heat and humidity may cause heat stress while outside.
