UPDATE: The advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory Monday for several counties in Northeast Ohio.
The following counties are under the advisory:
- Erie
- Lorain
- Cuyahoga
- Lake
- Ashtabula
Winds could reach speeds between 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph along the lakeshore.
Strong winds could impact unsecured outdoor items that could potentially be blown around such as Christmas decorations, patio furniture and trash cans.
