CLEVELAND — After a winter storm dumped more than 12 inches in some places Tuesday, schools across Northeast Ohio remain closed Wednesday.
As of 5:15 a.m., over 70 schools are closed Wednesday due to winter weather.
The closings are concentrated in Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lorain counties.
More than 45,000 power outages remain across Northeast Ohio, with the majority of the power outages in the following counties:
- Cuyahoga County: 19,762
- Geauga County: 17,027
- Lake County: 6,138
